Yoga is for everyone. It is a simple but powerful practice that brings a calm and healthy mind and body - physically as well as mentally and spiritually. It is not reserved for those with flexible bodies, on the contrary, it brings enormous benefit to those that are stiff, with injuries, and those with sickness. Yoga helps people to live better, healthier and more productive lives and for longer.

The aims of Les's yoga classes are to inform and enthuse students so they can develop and refine their own yoga practises, and heal their own injuries, ailments, posture problems and imbalances. Classes are fun, informative, challenging and imaginative, and overall, not too serious.

Everyone's body tells a different story, and thus everyone has different needs from their yoga practise. Les's speciality is to look at individual's bodies and tailor yoga classes to each person's particular needs.

All the types of yoga Les has practised over the years have helped develop his own individual approach and style with rhythm and flow to the classes.

Les focuses on alignment and precision and uses props such as cushions, chairs, blocks, straps, and walls allowing the students to experience the yoga poses more easily and fully than might otherwise be possible. Props also allow those not able to do teh full pose, or also tired, ill or students with injuries to enjoy the benefits of the yoga poses.

Les has a light hearted, pragmatic and down to Earth style of teaching, which students respond well too.
